Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly signed a bill into law to do something about those annoying nighttime blinking red lights on the top of wind farms throughout the state.
Developers of new wind projects will be required to apply to the Federal Aviation Administration for light mitigation technology, which will turn on the lights only when an aircraft is approaching.
But the Associated Press reports the lights will continue to blink on existing wind farms.
