For some Colorado residents, they are seeing a drop in their natural gas prices, thanks to a move by Xcel Energy.
The company responded to a continuous drop in wholesale natural gas prices by filing a quarterly and gas commodity adjustments with the Colorado Public Utilities Commission and lowering its prices.
The Denver Gazette reports it is Xcel’s fourth decline in energy prices in the past six months and the company’s prices have dropped 58% in that time period.
