Residents of small south Texas town complain of crude oil leak

Residents in Dayton community concerned about their health, livestock after crude oil spill

 

An oil leak that started in late January but not reported to the Environmental Protection Agency until late February has stirred anger among the residents of the small South Texas town of Dayton, just east of Houston.

They recently voiced their disappointment at a meeting with officials of AmCorCo Corporation, telling stories of a new oil week found over the weekend, brown drinking water for livestock and damage to their property reported KPRC TV News.
