Leadership at ONEOK, Inc. announced the company’s 2023 annual shareholders meeting will be held May 24 but it won’t be an in-person gathering.
The 9 a.m. meeting will be a virtual meeting only and accessible through a live webcast. Shareholders will receive a notice of the meeting and ability to vote as of March 27 of this year.
In a preliminary filing of the proxy statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the company listed a proposed agenda.
It includes the election of 10 directors, the approval of Ernst & Young as the company’s principal independent accountants for 2023, the holding of an advisory vote to approve the named executive officer compensation, and amendment of the restated certificate of incorporation to modify the supermajority voting provisions.
The company’s proposed proxy opposes a shareholder proposal regarding elimination of the supermajority vote.
