A day after a loss of nearly $5 a barrel, crude oil prices on Thursday bounced back with a 1% gain after reports that Saudi Arabia and Russia held meetings to talk about market stability.
Oklahoma energy stocks rebounded as well with some firms seeing 5% gains for the day.
West Texas Intermediate crude gained 74 cents or 1.1% to close at $68.35 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude rose 1% or $1.37 a barrel and closed at $74.70 on ICE Futures Europe.
April natural gas rose 7 cents to $2.51 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Oklahoma energy stocks rebounded as well including Gulfport Energy Corp. with a nearly 5% gain for the day while Ovintiv rose more than 5%.
