Ovintiv adds to Canadian County wells

Ovintiv added  two more wells to two single-pad sites in Canadian County making combined oil production on the Divide Clark wells to be more than 2,400 barrels a day.

The fourth well, the Divide Clark 1406 5h-21xx, drilled on the same pad at 16 14N 6W , a site about 9 miles southeast of Okarche, produced 893 barrels of oil a day along with 865 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 20,493 feet while the true vertical depth was 8,270 feet according to the completion report filed a day after three previous Divide Clark wells.

The fourth well had a spudding in April 2022 and completion was August 31, 2022.

Ovintiv also added the Stephen 1406 2h-27x to be the fourth well drilled at 27 14N 6W, a site near the Divide Clark wells. It had production of 405 barrels of oil a day and 765 Mcf of natural gas. The drilled depth was 15,644 feet in the Woodford formation while the completion report revealed a true vertical depth of 8,337 feet. The Stephen 1406 was completed in September of last year following a June spudding.

The combined production of the four wells was 2,100 barrels of oil a day.

Two Canadian County wells drilled by Citizen Energy III LLC on the same pad had combined production of 839 barrels of oil a day.

The Ripley 2h-21-16, drilled at 21 13N 6W, about 7 miles northeast of El Reno, produced 332 barrels of oil a day and 2,055 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 19,100 feet in the Mississippian while its true vertical depth, according to the completion report, was 8,365 feet.

The well was spudded in July of last year and completed in September.

The Ripley 1h-21-16, completed in December of last year at the same pad site, had production of 507 barrels of oil a day and 1,836 Mcf of natural gas from the Mississippian formation. The completion report showed a drilled depth of 19,100 feet and the true vertical depth at 8,493 feet. It had a July 2022 spudding.
