TC Energy revealed the cause of the 55,000 barrel crude oil leak from its Keystone Pipeline in Kansas was a faulty weld and “bending stress fatigue” on the pipe.

The Canadian company said it determined the cause through an independent lab analysis on the failed section of the 2,687-mile line reported ABC News.
