Iowa ethanol plant operators say without carbon-capture pipelines they will be forced out of business

 

Ethanol plant operators are trying to make the case that without carbon-capture pipelines across Iowa, they will eventually be forced to close in the coming decade.

The Des Moines Register reported on a new economic report that contended Iowa’s ethanol industry would lose three-fourths of its production if three proposed carbon-capture pipelines are not approved in the state.
