New producing wells include several plays in Oklahoma

While Oklahoma saw an increase in drilling activity in the past week, the number of completions has been slow at the same time. The latest reports indicated drilling in the STACK, the SCOOP, and the WOODFORD plays.

Reports filed this week showed Citizen Energy III LLC finished a two-well effort on a single pad in Grady County. Combined production was 629 barrels of oil a day.

The Ragsdale 2h-35-26, located at 2 8N 6W , a site about 5 miles southwest of the Bridge Creek community produced 216 barrels of oil a day and 466 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,7865 feet in the Mississippi Lime. The well was completed Aug. 16 of this year following a spud date of May 11, 2022.

The second well, the Ragsdale 1h-35-26, finished with production of 413 barrels of oil a day and 810 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 20,050 feet and completion was Aug. 16.

Hinkle Oil & Gas Inc. filed reports on two wells completed in Kingfisher County.

The Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 92-3ho, located at 30 17N 5W or nearly 9 miles northeast of the city of Kingfisher, produced 593 barrels of oil a day and 285 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 11,727 feet in the Oswego formation. Completion was made Oct. 15 of this year following spudding on Sept. 17, 2022.

The Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 20-3ho, located at 7 17N 5W, or about 3 miles south of the first Lincoln Southeast Oswego produced 334 barrels of oil a day and 470 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 11,689 feet. Completion was made Oct. 20 following spudding on Sept. 8, 2022.

Rig count dips slightly: North Dakota rises, Oklahoma falls

Native Exploration Operating LLC completed a McClain County well with production of 554 barrels of oil a day and 532 Mcf of natural gas. The Sacred Sun 0703 29-32-5 1wxh, located 3 mles southwest of the town of Washington, 29 7N 3W , was completed Sept. 21, 2022 with a drilled depth of 20,970 feet. It was spudded June 19 of this year.

Calyx Energy III LLC came up with another gas well in Pittsburg county. The Eagle 1-32-29wh, completed Sept. 29 of this year produced 13,504 Mcf of natural gas along with 7 barrels of oil a day. Drilled depth was 15,639 feet at 5 7N 13E , a site several miles northwest of McAlester. Completion in the Woodford came after a May 30 spudding.
