Several explosions Monday morning at a Georgia chemical plant resulted in evacuations of nearby neighborhoods.
The blast and fire occurred at the Symrise Chemical Plant outside the city of Brunswick. Several explosions were heard according to the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office.
The cause of the explosions had not been determined.
In a statement provided to Fox News Digital, the company said “Given first estimates, no one got injured and there is no danger to employees or residents. Local fire brigades and police fully control the situation on site.”
