Oklahoma energy stocks responded Friday to an increase in crude oil prices, making gains as investors hoped for a strong demand from China. Plus, the weakening U.S. dollar outweighed concern of any global economic downturn.
November natural gas fell more than 7% or 40 cents to $4.96 per 1,000 cubic feet.
For most Oklahoma energy stocks, it proved to be a strong trading day. Mammoth Energy gained more than 7% and NGL Energy Partners went up about 6%. Devon Energy recorded a nearly 4% boost for the day.
