Anadarko Basin’s oil and gas production to grow in October

A new report from the government shows oil and gas production in the Anadarko Basin that covers most of western Oklahoma will increase in October.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported overall oil production in the basin will go from 424,000 barrels a day in September to 432,000 barrels a day.

Average new well production was 711 barrels of oil a day per well in September. The EIA report expects a slight increase in October to 713 barrels of oil a day for each new well in the basin.

Natural gas production is expected to grow from 6,715  million cubic feet a day to 6,724 a day in October. New well production is expected to gain from 424,000 cubic feet a day in September to 432,000 in October.
