Chesapeake Energy Corporation announced that it will release its 2022 third quarter operational and financial results after market close on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
A conference call to discuss the results has been scheduled on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 9:00 am EDT. A webcast link to the conference call will be provided on Chesapeake’s website at www.chk.com. A replay will be available on the website following the call.
What will be of interest is how the company fared after announcing in the second quarter that it planned to reduce activity in the Eagle Ford play while increasing its activity in the Haynesville play.
“—we are increasing our capital allocation to the Haynesville in the second half of the year and into 2023 to position the asset for returns-driven growth,” said Nick Dell‘Osso, Chesapeake’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
At the end of the second quarter, Chesapeake reported net income of $1.2 billion or $8.27 per diluted share. It had $909 million in net cash provided by its operating activities and delivered adjusted EBITDAX of $1.2 billion and $494 million in adjusted free cash flow.
