Proposed largest solar farm in Kansas faces opposition

Plans by NextEra Energy Resources to build a 2,000 acre solar farm in eastern Kansas—the state’s largest—have run into growing opposition by neighbors of the proposed site.

The  West Gardner Solar Project would generate 320 megawatts, enough to power thousands of homes and businesses. KCUR radio, an NPR affiliate interviewed some of them.
