Big Garvin County producer reported by Marathon Oil

Marathon Oil Company filed a completion report indicating it found a big producing well in Garvin County, one with more than 2,000 barrels a day of oil production.

The Yoshi 0304 2-5-32sxh, located at 5 3N 4W, a site 5 miles southwest of Lindsay, was completed Feb. 20 of this year with production of 2,040 barrels of oil a day along with 1,920 Mcf of natural gas. Drilled depth was 20,540 feet in the Springer formation following a December 2021 spudding.

A Johnston County well drilled by Bnk Petroleum Inc., a firm headquartered in Newbury Park, California was completed in April with production of 989 barrels of oil a day and 465 Mcf of natural gas. Located at 5 4S 4E , a site about 5-6 miles northeast of the town of Dickson, the Barnes 8-4h had a drilled depth of 14,628 feet in the Caney formation. The completion report showed a spud date in January 2022.

Expect a large drilling project in Carter County by Mack Energy Co. of Oklahoma City. The firm received permits to drill four wells on a single pad at 07 2S 2W, a site about 5 miles southeast of Ratliff City.

Crawley Petroleum Corporation has a permit to drill the Campbell #6-6WHX well at 06b 14N 15W in Custer County.

A Harper County well, the Stinson #2-21 will be drilled by Latigo Oil and Gas Inc. at 21 27N 25W.

Reach Oil and Gas Company Inc. received a permit to drill the GWIN SWD #1 in Seminole County.
