Nearly two years after he gained a promotion amidst an executive leadership shakeup at Tulsa’s Unit Corporation, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer David P. Dunham is leaving the energy company.
His departure was announced this week in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission in which Unit Corporation stated that he “was stepping down from the Company, effective immediately, to pursue other opportunities.”
Dunham took over as COO in the fall of 2020 when David Merrill left Unit as President and Chief Executive Officer. He immediately became responsible for Unit’s day-to-day operations and business development. Dunham joined Unit in 2007 as Director of Corporate Planning and was the company’s Senior Vice President of Business Development since 2017.
