While the U.S. Forest Service admits its own prescribed burn was responsible for causing New Mexico’s largest wildfire ever, some are still trying to put the eventual blame on the state’s oil and gas industry.
Environmentalists and other critics of the industry claim that climate change was caused by the extensive drilling in the state according to a report by Capital and Main.
