Crude oil prices managed a 2% rebound on Friday but it’s clear that as prices finished down for the week of trading that investors remain worried about a recession. Will the rebound continue in Monday’s trading—that’s the question as we enter another week of buying and selling crude oil.
Oklahoma energy stocks had something of a weak day in trading.
West Texas Intermediate crude for August delivery finished up $2.06 to settle at $104.79 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude for September delivery managed at $2.37 increase and closed at $107.02 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
August natural gas fell 27 cents to $6.03 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Friday was nothing outstanding for Oklahoma energy stocks as some managed slight gains for the day.
