Oklahoma energy stocks dipped with fall in crude oil prices on Thursday

Oil prices slip as U.S. inventories rise, despite OPEC's slow road to adding supply | Reuters

 

Crude oil prices suffered a slight drop in trading on Thursday but remained close to the three-month highs they hit in Wednesday’s trading. The drop came after parts of Shanghai implemented new COVID-19 lockdown steps.

In the U.S., West Texas Intermediate crude for July delivery dropped 60 cents or 0.5% and settled at $121.51 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Global benchmark Brent crude for August delivery went down 51 cents or 0.4% and finished at $123.07 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.

Oklahoma energy stocks recorded losses for the most part. While PHX Minerals went up more than 6%, SandRidge Energy lost 6% in the day’s trading.

Cheniere (LNG) down 4.84 at 137.35 – change 3.41%

Chevron (CVX) down 3.61 at 177.52 – change 2.00%

ConocoPhillips (COP) down 3.30 at 118.56 – change 2.71%

Diamondback Energy (FANG) down 2.48 at 157.83 – change 1.55%

Energy Transfer LP (ET) down 0.22 at 12.04 – change 1.80%

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) down 0.25 at 28.12 – change 0.89%

EOG Resources (EOG) down 3.25 at 142.49 – change 2.23%
