Continental Resources is attempting to carry out a pilot drilling project in North Dakota similar to one that involved three wells in Oklahoma.

The North Dakota Public Service Commission recently heard testimony about the company’s “huff” and “puff” Enhanced Oil Recovery project designed to increase production according to the Williston Herald.

The paper quoted a company engineer as indicating the EOR effort will be made on one of two wells at a single pad site.
