After killing the Keystone XL pipeline and restricting drilling permits, Biden now wants increased oil production

After President Biden accused Exxon Mobil Corp of making more money than God and capitalizing on a supply shortage of crude oil, Exxon pushed back on Friday.

Exxon pointed out it lost $20 billion in 2020, the year Biden shut down the country over COVID-19 and has increased production this year, even though the President claimed Friday the company was stalling production so it could make more profits.

“We have been in regular contact with the administration, informing them of our planned investments to increase production and expand refining capacity in the United States,” said spokesman Casey Norton.

With gas hitting $5 a gallon nationwide, Biden told union workers in Los Angeles he hoped to speed up oil production reported Reuters…comments that contradict his executive orders and comments at the beginning of his term in office to shut down fossil fuel production.
