Gas Prices in California Hit a Record High - Small Business Trends

 

Mark May 11, 2022 on your calendars as the day Oklahoma set a record high gasoline price of $3.98 per gallon.

The American Automobile Association reported Wednesday the new high broke the previous record of $3.95 set on July 16, 2008. The record came after prices jumped 3 cents from Tuesday to Wednesday. The new high is also 14 cents more than a week ago and $1.25 higher than one year ago.

The national average also went up from Tuesday’s record high of $4.37, reaching a new mark of $4.40 a gallon according to AAA.
