Continental Resources wraps up shareholders meeting

Ex Continental Resources employee pleads in mineral rights civil suit

 

Continental Resources held its annual shareholders meeting last week in Oklahoma City where seven directors, including company founder Harold Hamm were chosen to the Board of Directors.

Hamm was chosen along with Continental President and CEO William Berry. Others elected by shareholders were: Shelly Lambertz, Lon McCain, John T. McNabb, II, Mark E. Monroe and Timothy G. Taylor.

The company’s 2022 Long-Term Incentive Plan won approval on a vote of 306,542,330 for and 10,408,328 against according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Shareholders approved selection of Grant Thornton LLP as the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022.

The shareholders also voted in support of the compensation of named executive officers. In 2021, as reported in the company’s proxy filing with the SEC for the meeting, President Berry received a $1 million salary,  a bonus of $2,796,877, stock awards of $8,565,604, and other compensation of $45,369. His total compensation was $12,407,850.
