The Mayor of Fort Collins, Colorado wants to limit oil and gas activity in the city’s boundaries and thinks the best method is to buy all of the mineral rights in the city.
“I’m talking about buying out the operators who own the oil and gas,” Mayor Jeni Arndt said at a recent city council work session reported the Coloradan.
