Storm produced light to moderate rainfall across Oklahoma

Tuesday’s anticipated severe weather didn’t strike Oklahoma as hard as some of the forecasters predicted.
Some hail fell near central Oklahoma but there were no reports of tornadoes or severe wind damage.
The eastern half of the state received larger amounts of rainfall including 2 inches close to the state line.
Western Oklahoma wasn’t so lucky in getting enough rainfall to ease the drought that continues to grip the region.

The storm resulted in some power outages around the state. OG&E reported outages in Edmond and Ardmore and stated that at one point, it had nearly 1,300 customers without power.

Public Service Company’s outage map on Wednesday showed around a dozen customers without electrical power.
