Biden’s social cost of carbon plan revived by Appeals Court

Court Ruling Strikes Down Workers' Compensation Law in AL

A federal judge’s injunction against the Biden administration’s social cost of carbon was stayed this week by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans.

The decision allows the government to reinstate its metric used to measure the climate impacts of rulemakings and projects reported POLITICO.

The original ruling came in a lawsuit filed last year by Louisiana and nine other states. Oklahoma was not one of them but the others included Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Dakota, Texas, West Virginia and Wyoming.
