Texas shutdown of disposal wells over earthquakes could affect Tulsa firm’s operations

Energy consultancy Rystad warns some Texas shale oil and gas producers in the Permian Basin could lose nearly half of their wastewater disposal capacity because of earthquake restrictions taken by the Texas Railroad Commission.

Some of the wells in the region where the Commission is shutting down deep injection wells include wells run by NGL Energy Partners of Tulsa, Coterra Energy and ConocoPhillips reported Reuters.
