It’s been 20 years since NextEra Energy installed a 170-turbine wind farm in southwest Kansas near the small town of Montezuma.
NextEra, the same company with numerous wind farms in Oklahoma, gets enough electrical power from the Montezuma operation to power nearly 35,000 homes a year reported the Kansas News Service.
