More radioactive oilfield waste disposal options in North Dakota

Those Oklahoma energy firms carrying out oil and gas exploration in North Dakota’s Bakken might soon have a disposal well to rid of radioactive waste in the state.

The North Dakota Industrial Commission recently approved the creation of a second well in McKenzie County where oil field waste would be mixed with saltwater into a slurry and injected deep underground reported the Bismarck Tribune.
