New drilling extends across Oklahoma

Regulators approve more permits to drill across the state as the oil and gas industry continues its expansion following a retreat caused by the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020.

Beckham County will see drilling by Unbridled Resources LLC which received a permit fore the BLEVINS 16X9-11-26 #1HC,

a well to be drilled only a few miles from the Texas state line  along state highway 152. The site is 21 11N 26W.

Continental Resources, known for extensive drilling operations in Grady County has a permit for the SIMMONS #5-1-12XHMin Blaine County. Located at 01 14N 13W, the well is southwest of Watonga.

Dewey County, on the edge of the STACK drew the interest of three oil and gas operators.

Comanche Exploration Co. LLC received a permit for the EVANS #18-1H, located at 18 18N 14W which is a site west of Canton and north of Oak Wood.

Crawley Petroleum Corporation was permitted to drill the  ELLA #3-19H, northwest of Canton at 19 19N 14W.

The third company with a Dewey County permit is Unit Petroleum Company.  It will drill the HOLDER #14-1 at 14 18N 16W which is south of Ceiling and east of Taloga.

An Ellis County well, the THELMA 8/17 AP #1H, will be drilled by Mewbourne Oil Company at 05 18N 24W which is south of Arnett.

In Seminole County, Circle 9 Resources LLC plans to drill the CARTER #12 located 4 miles northwest of the city of Seminole at 11 9N 5E.

Hays Production LLC was awarded a permit to drill in Stephens County where the SANNER #35 will be located at 22 1S 5W, a site about 4 miles west of Velma.
