Investors await Tuesday’s crude oil trading to see if US prices rebound from the Friday slip and whether European prices continue their climb upward. The drop in the benchmark U.S. crude oil prices also dragged some Oklahoma energy stocks with it.
West Texas Intermediate crude oil for August delivery slipped 7 cents to $75.16 a barrel on Friday.
Global benchmark Brent crude for September delivery finished up 33 cents at $76.17 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
August natural gas rose 4 cents to $3.70 per 1,000 cubic feet.
PHX Minerals Inc. had the biggest gain of Oklahoma stocks on Friday as shares shot up 11.38% on a 43 cent increase to $4.21.
Laredo Petroleum Inc. had the biggest loss at 7.09% on a $6.79 fall to $88.93 per share.
