This is crazy Part II—Ovintiv Mid-Continental Inc. Earlier in the week OK Energy Today reported how the company recently completed 3 wells on a single pad near Kingfisher and had combined production of more than 4,000 barrels of oil a day.
Wrong! It was closer to 5,600 barrels of oil a day. That’s because Ovintiv filed a late completion report for a fourth Mary 1507 well at a site at 15 15N 7W, which is at the south edge of Kingfisher.
The three-well production was 4,053 barrels of oil a day but a completion report filed Wednesday showed the fourth well, the MARY #1507 4H-34XX had production of 1,589 barrels of oil a day along with 1,916 Mcf of natural gas. So the combined production from all four wells drilled on the single pad was 5,642 barrels of oil a day. The fourth well had a drilled depth of 18,974 feet and completion was June 9, 2021.
