Wastewater recycling firm expands Permian operations

In an effort to alleviate the growing number of earthquakes in the Permian Basin, a Houston company is expanding its method of recycling oilfield wastewater rather than injecting it back into disposal wells which some contend are the source of the seismic incidents.

Breakwater Midstream recently expanded its Big Spring Recycling System in Martin County, Texas just north of Midland reported the Carlsbad Current Argus.
