Xcel Energy says it set a regional wind energy record at its new Sagamore Wind Project in New Mexico. It was a record that boosted the company’s wind energy account for more than half of the New Mexico and Texas region’s electricity supply in March.
KFDA reported Xcel also reached a new hourly peak production of more than 86% of the supply on April 11.
