Oklahoma Congressman Markwayne Mullin, a continuing critic of President Biden’s anti oil and gas moves suggests the President’s latest decision might be illegal.

When asked by OK Energy Today for his reaction to the President’s acceptance of money from a Russia lobbyist and his decision not to continue with sanctions over the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, Rep. Mullin responded, “Not only is the related action unacceptable, and possibly illegal.”

He didn’t explain how it might be illegal.

Mullin, a Republican who represents eastern Oklahoma took note of stories revealing this week that President Biden broke his own vow not to take money from lobbyists and received campaign contributions from a Russia lobbyist. The lobbyist was Richard Burt, a former U.S. ambassador in the Reagan administration.

The congressman said it shows the hypocrisy of the Left-leaning American media.

“If President Trump had taken money from a Russia lobbyist, it would have been Russian Collusion and investigations and outrage all over again. When President Biden does this, the press says nothing.”
Mullin stated that Russia remains a top threat to the U.S.

“and I whole-heartedly disagree with President Biden’s decision to waive sanctions over the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.”
