Broadband to be expanded in state budget

State legislators reached agreement this year to spend millions more on expanding broadband services in Oklahoma, giving wider communications opportunities for those in the rural areas of the state.

The 2022 state budget includes $42 million in tax rebates for companies to expand broadband services in unserved or underserved areas of Oklahoma reported The Oklahoman.
