Texas wind city challenged on issue of old wind turbine blades

Piles of old wind blades are stacked on top of each other in a field managed by CPD in Sweetwater, Texas.

Sweetwater is working on a solution of how to dispose of the decommissioned wind turbine blades, a problem faced by cities in Wyoming where huge graves were built for the blades that in some cases are longer than the wings of a 747 airliner.
