Oil rebounded on Friday along with Oklahoma energy stocks

Crude oil prices made a big rebound in Friday’s trading with US prices settling above the $65 a barrel mark while European prices approached $69.

West Texas Intermediate crude for June delivery rose $1.55 to settle at $65.37 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Global benchmark Brent crude for July deliver finished up $1.66 to $68.71 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.

June natural gas fell 1 cent to $2.96 per 1,000 cubic feet.

Oklahoma energy stocks had strong showings on Friday. Three stood out including Laredo Petroleum Inc. which gained 9.77% on an increase of $3.71 to $41.68.

SandRidge Energy gained 7.87% as shares rose 37 cents to $5.07. Devon Energy Corp rose $1.63 for a 6.61% gain to $26.38.

Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. increased 13 cents for a 2.17% gain to $6.12.
Blueknight Energy Partners LP went up 8 cents for a 2.29% gain to $3.57.
Chesapeake Energy fell 63 cents for a 1.27% loss to $48.87.
Cimarex Energy Co gained 5.52% as shares rose $3.74 to finish the day at $71.49.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP went up 2 cents for a 0.88% gain to $2.30.
Enable Midstream Partners LP rose one cent for a gain of 0.12% to $8.53.
Gulfport Energy Corporation lost 2.35% to $0.044 cents.
Helmerich & Payne Inc. went up $1.12 to $29.35 for a 3.97% gain.
LSB Industries, Inc. finished up one cent for a 0.16% gain to $6.23.
Magellan Midstream Partners, LP gained 1.22% as stocks rose 59 cents to $49.08.
Mammoth Energy Services Inc increased by 3 cents to $3.11 for a gain of 0.97%.
Matrix Service Co. fell 16 cents for a 1.31% to $12.44.
NGL Energy Partners LP dropped $0.015 for a 0.70% loss to $2.14.
OGE Energy Corp. finished up 55 cents for a 1.62% gain to $34.40.
ONE Gas Inc. fell $1.05 for a 1.37% loss to $75.80.
ONEOK Inc. gained 2.95% on a $1.56 increase to $54.35.
Ovintiv Inc gained 4.93% as shares rose $1.23 to $26.16.
PHX Minerals Inc. settled down 6 cents for a 1.93% loss to $3.05.
Unit Corporation rose 25 cents for a 1.75% gain to $14.50.

Williams Companies Inc closed with a 1.97% gain on a 50 cent increase to $25.88.

 

Other energy stocks had a stronger day according to the Texas Energy Report.

Diamondback Energy (FANG) up 2.50 at 78.70 – change 3.28%

Energy Transfer LP (ET) up 0.13 at 10.11 – change 1.30%

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) up 0.28 at 23.89 – change 1.19%

EOG Resources (EOG) up 3.02 at 82.60 – change 3.79%

ExxonMobil (XOM) up 1.47 at 60.77 – change 2.48%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) up 0.35 at 18.36 – change 1.92%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) up 0.73 at 11.80 – change 6.59%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) up 0.84 at 17.51 – change 5.04%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) up 1.39 at 25.10 – change 5.86%

Phillips 66 (PSX) up 3.34 at 87.70 – change 3.96%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) up 5.20 at 157.05 – change 5.20%

Valero (VLO) up 2.69 at 81.21 – change 3.43%
