Delivery of Tesla’s Model S Plaid Delayed for One Week

The debut of Tesla’s Model S Plaid is being pushed back one week as the company makes final adjustments to the electric vehicle, according to a message from CEO Elon Musk’s Twitter account. The new delivery date is June 10.

“This car feels like a spaceship. Words cannot describe the limbic resonance,” said Musk.

Tesla is expected to make a vigorous effort for Q2 2021 deliveries of the highly anticipated model. The company will hold an event at its Fremont factory on June 3 for the vehicle, which is expected to compete with the Porsche Taycan, Audi E-tron, Lucid Air and Mercedes EQS.
