Austin, Texas is expanding the number of electric car charging ports to accommodate the growing number of EV drivers in the city.
The city announced more than 200 charging ports will be installed to help the city meet its goal of becoming carbon neutral.
KVUE TV reported that by the end of 2022, nearly 5% of Austin’s on-road vehicle fleet will be electric.
