A correction to last week’s story about Overland Park, Kansas-based Compass Minerals and its sale of some assets to Koch Agronomic Services LLC.
The sale did not include salt mines owned by Compass Minerals but rather its micronutrient assets to Koch in a $60.25 million agreement.
Compass considered the sale another strategic step to optimize its asset portfolio which includes three location-advantaged salt mines in North American and the U.K.
