Kansas Interfaith leader criticizes Evergy over solar energy moves
An Interfaith leader in Kansas has come out against plans by Evergy to charge home-solar customers for their electricity.
Writing in several newspapers across the state, Rabbi Moti Rieber, executive director of Kansas Interfaith Action accused the state’s main investor-owned utility of engaging in a years-long effort to suppress the home-based solar industry.
He said, “It’s time to say no to Evergy’s greed.”
