Crude oil makes more gains and Brent finishes over $51

It was another up day for crude oil prices on Wednesday as Brent crude made it over the $51 mark and WTI pushed close to $48.

West Texas Intermediate crude rose 5 cents for a 0.10% gain to $47.87 for January delivery in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Global benchmark Brent crude finished up 32 cents at $51.08 for a nearly 1% gain in trading on the ICE Futures Europe.

Natural gas finished up one cent at $2.69 per MMBTU for a gain of not quite one-half of one percent.

Wednesday proved to be a struggle for Oklahoma energy stocks as most suffered losses for the day.

Cypress Environmental Partners LP lost more than 9% as its shares dropped 24 cents to settle at $2.35 for the day. Others were luckier.

Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. managed a 6 cent increase amounting to a gain of a little more than 1% to finish at $5.01. Blueknight Energy Partners LP rose 5 cents for a nearly 3% gain to $1.81. Chesapeake Energy Corporation fell 14 cents for a nearly 7% tumble to $1.92.
Devon Energy Corp managed a 12 cent climb to $15.91 for a gain of nearly 1%. Enable Midstream Partners LP finished down 5 cents or about 1% to $5.68. Gulfport Energy Corporation slipped 4% to 7 cents per share.
Helmerich & Payne, Inc. lost 18 cents or about 1% and settled at $24.74. LSB Industries, Inc. dropped 12 cents for a loss of 4.29% and settled at $2.68. Laredo Petroleum Inc saw a 50 cent increase or 2.57% gain to $19.92 per share.
Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. lost 47 cents and finished down 1% at $45.59. Mammoth Energy Services Inc was unchanged at $3.84. NGL Energy Partners LP slipped 5 cents for a nearly 2% loss and settled at $2.86 per share.
OGE Energy Corp. dropped 36 cents and closed at $31.97 for a loss of 1.11%. ONE Gas Inc finished at $80.08, down $1.78 and s 2.17% loss. ONEOK, Inc. lost 65 cents to close at $40.65 for a 1.57% decline.
Ovintiv Inc closed at $14.64 with a 20 cent loss and a 1.35% decline. PHX Minerals Inc slipped 2 cents or about 1% and finished the day at $2.02. SandRidge Energy Inc. lost 18 cents or 5.16% and closed at $3.31.
WPX Energy Inc saw a 7 cent increase and closed at $8.19 for a 1% gain. Williams Companies Inc finished with a 57 cent drop and 2.55% loss at $21.75.

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) down 0.53 at 21.01 – change 2.47%

EOG Resources (EOG) down 0.46 at 52.70 – change 0.87%

ExxonMobil (XOM) up 0.66 at 43.70 – change 1.53%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) down 0.17 at 14.60 – change 1.16%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) up 0.06 at 6.97 – change 0.86%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) down 0.17 at 13.94 – change 1.71%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) down 0.39 at 19.45 – change 1.97%

Parsley Energy (PE) down 0.08 at 14.49 – change 0.55%

Phillips 66 (PSX) down 0.96 at 67.29 – change 1.41%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) down 0.56 at 116.89 – change 0.47%

Valero (VLO) down 0.57 at 56.92 – change 0.98%
