As the old saying goes, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” And that’s apparently what the leader of the American Petroleum Institute believes as he told a recent conference in Texas that excluding President Trump’s apparent reeelection loss, the elections were quite a victory for the nation’s energy industry.
The observation by Mike Sommers, chief executive of the API came during a recent virtual symposium held by the Texas Energy Museum. The Beaumont Enterprise reported Sommers was among speakers who analyzed energy markets and policy goals.
