Cheniere Energy, Inc. investors await news whether they will continue seeing increased earnings in the third quarter as the Houston-based company will release its earnings report Nov. 6, 2020.
Cheniere, leading producer and exporter of liquefied natural gas in the United States and a company with a major natural gas pipeline from Oklahoma’s STACK and SCOOP plays had second quarter earnings of $197 million compared to $114 million a year earlier.
For the six months ended June 30, Cheniere had net income of $572 million or $2.27 per share—basic and $2.26 per share—diluted for the six months ended June 30, 2020, compared to $27 million, or $0.11 per share—basic and diluted, for the comparable 2019 period. It also had consolidated adjusted EBITDA of $2.43 billion.
