While Hurricane Laura hit the southern U.S., Thursday’s trading proved to also be stormy for Oklahoma related energy firms as they suffered drops in trading.
Devon Energy was barely an exception as prices rose 5 cents or 0.47% to settle at $10.76. Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. dropped 0.60% or 2 cents to reach $3.29.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP was down 9 cents or 3.45% to $2.52. Continental Resources, Inc. gained 24 cents or 1.39% to settle at $17.51 per share. Enable Midstream Partners LP was up 5.17% or 29 cents and ended the day at $5.80.
Helmerich and Payne, Inc. added 2 cents or 0.12% to finish at $16.61. Laredo Petroleum finished up 2.25% or 34 cents at $15.69. Magellan Midstream Partners ended the day up 1.81% or 69 cents at $38.49.
Mammoth Energy Services dropped 2.16% or 3 cents and ended Thursday’s trading at $1.36. NGL Energy Partners gained 4.21% or 17 cents at $4.21. OGE Energy Corp added 25 cents for a 0.80% gain at $31.54.
Ovintiv Inc. had a 1.82% or 20 cent gain to reach $11.44. Panhandle Oil and Gas dropped 1.87% or 4 cents to settle at $2.10. SandRidge Energy dropped more than 3% or 5 cents to finish at $1.60.
WPX Energy Inc. saw a 1 cent or 0.17% gain to $5.78. Williams Companies dropped 9 cents or 0.43% to $20.96.
