Oklahoma isn’t totally shut down with well completions

More wells are being reported as completed in Oklahoma and among the the latest is a Blaine County well with production of nearly 1,500 barrels of oil a day.

Devon Energy Production Co. LP filed the report this week on the Centaur 7_6-15n-10w 4hx even though the well was completed in June 2019. Located at 7 15N 10W which is a site about 6 miles northeast of the community of Greenfield, the well had a December 2018 spud date. Production is out of the Mississippian formation from a depth of 21,300 according to the well’s report.

Other completion reports were filed this week with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission although none were as large as the Centaur well in Blaine County.

Tapstone Energy had a 634 barrel a day producer in Dewey County at 24 19N 14W. White Star Petroleum had a Dewey County well too, producing 398 barrels of oil a day from a site at 33 17N 20W.

Fourpoint Energy LLC reported completion of a 219 barrel a day well at 19 18N 24W in Ellis County.

Garvin County saw a 197 barrel a day well completed by Camino Natural Resources LLC. The well is located at 16 5N 5W. Continental Resources also filed a report on completion of a 129 barrel a day well at 13 7N 6W in Garvin County.
