One way or another, the SandRidge Energy tower in downtown Oklahoma City is getting a new owner. What isn’t determined yet is if Robinson Park investment group, listed as the buyer in an SEC filing this week by SandRidge Energy will eventually turn it over to the state of Oklahoma.
Reporter Randy Ellis with the Oklahoman reported this week it might be a few more weeks from the Office of Land Commission makes a final decision whether to go ahead with the $35.5 million acquisition of the 30-story office tower. Ellis reported the Commissioners are completing a financial analysis.
Leadership of Robinson Park investments indicated if the Land Commission doesn’t move ahead with the purchase, the group will keep it for its own purposes.
