Where they’re drilling in Oklahoma

 

The latest release of permits to drill show oil and gas companies still have heavy interest in Oklahoma STACK play.

Newfield Exploration Mid-Con Inc. recently received seven permits to drill sister wells at two sites near Okarche in Canadian County.

Four wells are to be drilled from a single pad at 15 14N 7W which is about 3 miles southwest of Okarche. The Klade #1407 wells are to be drilled in the Mississippian and Woodford formations.

Three more Klade wells are to be drilled at 10 14N 7W which is in the section just north of 15 14N 7W.

Cimarex Energy Inc. received a permit to drill a KevinCom #1-29H well at 29 11N 8W in Canadian County. Red Bluff Resources Operating LLC has two permits for wells in Canadian County, one at 32 13N 5W and another at 29 14N 5W.

Continental Resources Inc. obtained a permit to drill the Chelsea #1-12-1XHW at 12 2S 3W in Carter County. Roan Resources plans another well in Grady County. The Griffin 26-23-10-5#1XH is to be drilled at 26 10N 5W.

Hall Greg Oil and Gas Inc. obtained a permit for a Seminole County well. The Stitt #1-27 is to be drilled at 27 8N 5E.
