Sister SCOOP wells produce 4,100 barrels a day for Marathon Oil

Houston’s Marathon Oil Company reports two sister wells drilled  in the SCOOP brought in more than 4,100 barrels of oil a day when they were completed in October 2019.
Completion reports filed this week on the two Bowser 0304 wells drilled at 17 3N 4W in Garvin County or about 6 miles south of Lindsay had combined production of 4,114 barrels of oil a day.

The largest had production of 2,122 barrels of oil a day along with 2,447 Mcf of natural gas, according to its completion report. The well had a June 2019 spud date and drilling finished in August 2019. Completion was made in October 2019 at a depth of 21,038 feet in the Springer formation.

The second Bowser well had production of 2,092 barrels of oil a day and 1,900 Mcf of natural gas. Its completion report showed an April 2019 spud date with drilling finished in June and completion made in October 2019 at a depth of 20,052 feet also in the Springer formation.

Other completion reports showed Fourpoint Energy LLC , headquartered in Denver, Colorado brought in another Ellis County well. The Grayling 21×16-18-26 1ha had production of 477 barrels of oil a day and 1,644 Mcf of natural gas. Located at 9 18N 26W or about 13 miles southwest of Arnett and only one mile from the state line, the well had an April spud date and completion was made in July 2019. The depth was 20,134 in the Cleveland formation.
